Wet Processing

The best quality is obtained through good management during the Wet Processing stage, which includes pulping, fermentation, and washing; that is why MULATA, in order to improve and homogenize the quality of the coffee, decides to process the coffee from the cherry or grape to the dry parchment, this guarantees quality and consistency, above all customer satisfaction.
In our facilities we have a wet processing plant, with Eco II equipment having two strategically separated modules to process certified coffee and conventional coffee, each one has the capacity to process 1.000 kg per hour, reaching 270.000 qq grapes per harvest.
In addition, there are different strategically located collection centers equipped with ecological machinery giving access to all goods prior its movement to the centralized beneficiary facility.

Wet Beneficiation Services

We have compact wet processing equipment with a capacity of 18.000 kg per hour, divided into two modules, one for certified coffee and the other for conventional coffee, which is available to our customers to efficiently process their coffee and preserve the quality of the bean; We ensure a service of quality, efficiency, responsibility, and honesty.

Dry Process

Being aware that this process guarantees the quality and durability of the product, we do it in the best possible way. To do this, we use compact and homogeneous equipment that allows us to have better control of temperature and drying time; we have the capacity to dry 4.050.000 kg per harvest. This is done in 8 Guardiola dryers intended for specialty coffees.

Dry Process

Dry Beneficiation Services
Taking into account the importance of good drying and the complexity of the coffee bean in this process, we have compact equipment of 8 mechanical dryers type Guardiola, these guarantee uniform drying without causing damage to the coffee bean; since there is a control of the inlet temperature, as well as of the dough inside the Guardiola.

Our Farms

On our premises, there is an area exclusively dedicated to the cultivation of plants such as Fine Cocoa, Coffee, Pepper, Cardamom, Timber, and Fruit Trees, which is managed by Technical Staff experts in crops, who identify traditional working methods and European Organic Inputs; guaranteeing the lots of robust and healthy plants ready for planting between 2 and 4 months according to their development. The area has an installed capacity of 250,000 plants.
